Dispatch comes to iOS and Android on December 9, with four episodes free
AdHoc Studio's superhero workplace comedy passed five million players on its first anniversary and will unlock its second half on phones for $19.99.

Dispatch, the superhero workplace comedy from AdHoc Studio, comes to iOS and Android on December 9, 2026. The first four of its eight episodes are free, and the full game unlocks for a one-time $19.99. AdHoc announced the port on October 22, 2026, the first anniversary of the game's launch, along with a count of more than five million players.

What the mobile version is
According to AdHoc's anniversary post, the phone release is the base game rebuilt for touch and for vertical play. It also supports Google Play Games on PC, and it launches in every region where the PC and console versions are sold except China and Japan. Prices will vary by region, and pre-registration is open on Google Play. App Store pre-orders are listed as coming soon.
The free half is a deliberate choice. In the studio's words, you can play the entire opening half of the story, "and then the choice is yours: keep going, or leave the team hanging."

A year, five platforms, five million players
Dispatch launched on October 22, 2025 on PlayStation 5 and on PC through Steam, and its episodes ran weekly until the finale on November 12. Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 followed on January 29, 2026, and Xbox Series X|S and the Microsoft Store on PC on July 29, 2026. Mobile will be the fifth family of platforms.
AdHoc co-founder and CEO Michael Choung told GamesIndustry.biz that the studio is spending its second year "just trying to get it on as many platforms as possible." He also described a game no publisher wanted: comedy, narrative and episodic structure were all considered hard sells, and the studio's first publishing partner dropped it about a third of the way through development.
Also on the anniversary list
- Commentary and Storyboard modes. A free update for Deluxe Edition owners adds more than 16 hours of cast and crew commentary, with choices unlocking different tracks, plus a mode that plays the whole game as its original storyboard animatics. Aaron Paul and Laura Bailey are among the voices. Owners of the standard edition can upgrade for $10.99, which AdHoc says is 20% off on Steam and Xbox at the time of its post.
- A live concert. The music of Dispatch plays at AVALON Hollywood in Los Angeles on December 3, 2026, with composer Andrew Arcadi and the SDN Company Band. Remaining tickets, if any, open to the public on November 2.
- Physical editions and an art book. The Deluxe Edition ships on disc for PS5, Xbox Series X and Switch 2, and a hardcover making-of book called Design Works is planned for 2027, with pre-orders due at the end of November 2026.
Next on the calendar is the concert on December 3, then the phone release six days later.
