Final Fantasy X is Square's role-playing game for the PlayStation 2, released in Japan on July 19, 2001, the first mainline Final Fantasy built for that console and the first with full voice acting. It follows Tidus and the summoner Yuna on a pilgrimage across Spira, and it is sold as Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo platforms.
CRIT6 marked the game's 25th anniversary with a look at what it changed: the voiced storytelling, the Sphere Grid, the end of the world map and the choices that still shape the series.
