Hollow Knight: Silksong is Team Cherry's sequel to Hollow Knight, released on September 4, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, and on Xbox Game Pass from launch day. It stars Hornet, the needle-wielding princess of the first game, carried to Pharloom, a kingdom of silk and song, and it trades the Knight's slow weight for speed, aerial strikes and tools crafted on the move.
CRIT6 covered the release after its long wait, Hornet's move to the lead role and how a three-person studio reached an audience that size.
